Taylor better not be commentating tonight. He always makes racist remarks when the cameras pan round to some faces of Oriental origin in the crowd; "Lots of Ding supporters in here tonight" he will say, without realising what a total numpty he is.

Higgins finally misses. Still, has a good lead and there are plenty of awkward reds for Allen.

Bad miss by Higgins. I feel, this frame could be the turning point. Allen must be favourite now to win the match.

Funny how Higgins is the one playing well in the beginning and Allen pegs him.
Bit of a role reversal.

That red is the PRIME example of why Higgins is in decline. In his prime he would have never missed and would have gone 3-1 up.
Allen willl fel like he's 3-1 ahead given how Higgins started.
Higgins wont win it, he definately needed to be 3-1 up after how he started.

Yes, a prime Higgins would never miss these balls under pressure. He was one of the best pressure players ever, but decline has changed things rapidly.

Never mind the red, he wouldn't have missed that green with the rest and taken frame four in one.

Higgins can still Pot balls and can still make Breaks but doing it consistency is the key and John Higgins cant do that anymore.

2005, what a match that was. I'll always remember that one. Ronnie was playing like a god in that final.
