Had he started great that might not have been a good omen given his 2 last Best of 11 matches.
Needs to be 3-1 at least at the MSI though.
That's true. It's just not really nice to see a score like that.

To be fair, he only ever won convincingly against Hendry, but thankfully Sourface is now retired.

Well according to your assumption, ROS choked and Selby didn't. Which shows that Selby did better.

i just hate the player selby not the person selby
too negative, putting balls safe and so on, the third session of the WC final was a classic example

Selby is the sort of player where even trailing 4-0 or 5-1 won't faze him. You wouldn't expect him to win if it got to that stage, but it wouldn't stun people if he did recover from that deficit.

If you hate his game, fine. But saying that his WC win was a fluke is just ridiculous.

Exactly, he can't do it all the time, but he does it more often than most.

Still it'd be nice if he won easily against a top player for once.

2-1. Would be typical Selby if he got out 2-2 at the MSI.

3rd session of WC Final is the perfect example of a player being able to break Ronnie's fluent rythm and breakbuilding.. it takes a lot of doing to do make that happen, you need to have an excelent safety game, which Selby clearly has.

Trump has been wearing those shoes for a couple of years, aren't they out of fashion now?

Well, he has to get some form of mileage out of them since they cost about £5k.

Just a silly guess.
