Fu takes whitewashes Castle barring snookers. Very straightforward for him in the end.

Good to see Marco Fu bashing up the illiterate.
Keep it up Marco, send him back to school!

Shane Castle doesn't know how to read or write.

Story in the papers around the last year's UK about Castle. Basically he stopped going to school and can barely read (if at all).

Cahill closes to 4-3.
ROS only needed one snooker. Guess he's not that bothered.

It'll be interesting to see how successful Cahill's comeback will be ;) I hope he wins.

Ronnie hasn't looked right since the WC. The form just isn't there, at the moment.

Don't worry, his good form will comeback, and since he plans to play more this season, plenty of oppurtunities to do so.

According to Ken Doherty, his 'aura of invincibility' has gone since the WSC this year.

Needs to be wary of the old burnout syndrome then if he plans to play more.

Well, these last 128 matches are very unpopular among any Top 16 player I suppose. I don't think, there are many topplayers who really give 100% into these matches. They all just wanna win as quick as possible and move on.

Cahill pots a very difficult red and then misses a very easy black. Well, match over for sure now.

Meanwhile, Lawler and Pengfei have just finished their fifth frame.
Good thing that one's not close.

I was stunned when he missed that easy black off its spot... I kinda wanted him to make that clearance you know...
Anyway, without hitting top gear, Ronnie did what he had to do, and as you said it's just a matter of getting through these "qualifying" matches, he can now improve once he plays in China.

Ronnie will now play Woolaston in China, not an easy opponent for a proper first round but anyway...

I really hope, Ronnie will reach the latter stages of this tournament, at least semi hopefully. As we know, he's usually playing below his class when playing in China. I really, hope, he won't have another first or second round defeat. That's would be a little blow imo.
