Nah Jimmy needs this win badly, he needs some good ranking money in the coming tournamets to keep his tour place intact.

Hopefully he can pull this one off.

Good point, but he will get a wildcard even if he drops off.

Happy for Jimmy, I know he'll eventually drop off the tour and has a wildcard awaiting for him, but a win is a win and it's always nice when he gets to a venue.

He'll now play Hawkins there, a tall order for him but at least he gained some much needed ranking money.

lets get this right Hendry has got a token Wild card just so that Barry isnt seen as biased towards Davis.

Hendry wont be using it.

I think he may use it for the UK Champs and World Champs, apart from that I can't see Hendry playing other tournaments.

Can't see many retired WC players entering as they will likely get back 10-2 at-least by most seeded pros.

Any player around the World could get a invite.

yes they wont be making inrodes but they could cause the odd upset

If Baird and Holt go to a decider, this match might have to be finished after one of the evening session matches.

EDIT: Sory thought the evening ones started at 7 p.m, they start at 7:30 so they have time to finish.

Suppose the 6k for a win will be a tempter, tour survival going to be more unpredictable too.
