Milkins also beat Dott and has one of his last chances for the top 16 (top 15). He needs to defeat MJW in the quarters and then to lift the trophy.

After shocking Ding and whitewashing Brecel, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh smashes Jamie Jones 4-1 and he is through the quarters of a ranking event for the first time in his career. Amazing!

edit: a few minutes later, Mavis whitewashes Higgins with an amazing performance, I guess. Walden also smashed Tian 4-0 and he is the favourite to win the tournament now.

Higgins once lead their head-to-head 4-1 but has lost the last six meetings, to now trail 4-7.

What happened to worldsnooker's livescore? They left the Perry vs K. Wilson match on 1-2, while Wilson was ready to steal the 4th frame. There is in no info the least 20 minutes and it appears on the "matches" section that Perry is 3-2 in front! I am not sure if it's true, though.

Good to see a player from Thailand progressing to the quarters - he's had a tough draw - and Mark Davis is next up. I expect Mavis will have too much ring-craft for him.
Similarly, Chris Wakelin's having a good run, although he's taken advantage of a more open draw in his section.
That 'shoot out' that was on TV last week was actually the first time I'd seen him play. Could be worth a punt for the Crucible. (to qualify)

Does that mean it's Davis' tournament to lose? :gag:
