Whenever Allen is in a final the commentators mention every former Irishmen to ever play the game.
Or at least they do on Eurosport.

Must say the crowd have been very good this week. Much more involved than some crowds I've seen in the UK. Think I saw on Inside Snooker that they reduced ticket prices. Could be down to that.

Allen closes to 5-3. Amazing if he got out only 5-4 behind after being 40-4.

Well, it's about time. The crowds used to be embarrassing in China.

Bingo got away with a snooker escape and it could end up helping him take this frame.

Bingo has missed a few of these virtual frame balls down the cushion.

Final First Session
Stuart Bingham 6-3 Mark Allen
Still a decent lead for Bingham despite his best efforts to throw it away. Hopefully both can chill for a couple of hours and produce some quality this afternoon.

Bingham has looked very dodgy, at times today. If Allen can raise his game slightly he'll take this.

Bingham establishes his four frame lead somehow and Allen is in trouble again.
7-3.
