Allen first through to the quarters beating MJW 5-1. Looks like White will be his next opponents leading Day by 4-2 and 59 points.

Skullman wrote:Right still no confirmation of the TV matches of the second session. I'll assume they're going to pick Ding's match as one and last I heard, they were still deciding between Zhao Xintong and Selby's matches. Selby's the sensible choice, so I'm going to assume they've picked the other match.
Thursday 11th of September
7.30am
Michael White v Ryan Day
Mark Allen v Mark Williams TV
Dominic Dale v Stuart Bingham
Graeme Dott v Shaun Murphy TV
12.30pm
Ding Junhui v Martin Gould TV guess
Stephen Maguire v Alan McManus
Michael Holt v Mark Selby
Zhao Xintong v Fergal O'Brien TV guess
And yet, for me, Maguire - McManus is the tie of the session. Probably themost intriguing tie of the round.

Why not? When he's playing well he can destory pretty much anyone in a session.

people does find it hard to accept that Bingham is now one of the best players on the planet.
also on the flip side Dominic is one of the most inconsistent players there's ever been.

looked to be on some kind of poor form aside from the 6-reds and Dale likes this event, guess I had more expectations on Dale too.

The comeback against Robbo in the UK semi showed what he can do when he's feeling good. He was completely awesome.

Shame he doesn't produce stuff like that more often.
I'm not a big fan of Bingo but I think the more players we have playing well at the same time, the better it is for snooker.
