If those are indeed the streamed matches, I think WS has made a good choice.
Un-Nooh v Williams and Luca v Day should be cracking matches I think if all players involved play well.

Interesting point. I wondered how they decided who had to play wild card matches - is it pot luck, or down to rankings?

Decider alert between Dale and Wasley. Wasley was 3-0 up at one point.

Pot luck, except a player can only play 1 wild card match a season.
So, as Dale and Higginson played in the wild card round in Australia, should they win their qualifying matches today, they will go straight to play their last 32 opponent.

I also see that Dom's fightback included three centuries
Want him to win now as it'd be a shame for all that effort to be wasted.

That will hurt Luca, had the frame at his mercy to level at 1 all, but an unlucky in off on the last red sets up a Day clearance to lead 2 nil.

Luca does play some silly shots left handed which ultimately cost him frames. He's nowhere near the level of Ronnie left handed, I've watched him play left handed in practice and he can produce all sorts of shots, but in competition it's a total different ball game.
He does need to take that little extra time in some of his shot selection, particularly escaping from snookers.

Luca levels 2-2 after being 0-2. Hopefully he can keep it up after the MSI.

Luca is a prime example of a modern player that's grown up watching Ronnie play and wants to play like him.
The mistake they make is Ronnie doesent rush shots.
