Gutted Scott did not win.
and surprised Burnett v Burns did not come out to finish their match but i guess with only 10 tables in use at 7pm it did make sense to tell them to come back at that time.

Was looking forward to getting home and getting a stream up - Doherty v. Jones looked enticing; but to be honest, the 15mins I've seen has been pretty turgid stuff.
1-1, and 5 reds down for a combined 18pts in the third (& at least 5 of those have been fouls)
Think I might give Mehta-Wakelin a go instead...

I've stuck with it, out of respect for a former World Champion.
2-1 Ken, but nothing to Email home about...

First man through this session (well technically Burns is) is Un-Nooh, beating Zhou Yuelong 5-3. 8 frames in under two hours. Not bad.

Not every Best of 9 match needs to last 4+ hours you know.... some variety is what the game needs, so it's not "too fast" as you say. If every match were the same the game would become very boring.
Plus the actual match had in every frame a 50+ break, including one century, now that's quality, being a slow or fast match, it doesnt matter, what matters is variety as I said.

...and then a sublime total clearance of 139 from Jones. Totally out of the blue.
2-2 @ the MSI.

Who is this Steven Hallworth fella? He beat experienced player Andrew Norman and is currently leading veteran Dave Harold 4-1. Hope he doesn't bottle it now, and a big win for him should he really win this match.

Spoke too soon. Jones needed 2 snookers to tie; got them, and now has put Ken in awful trouble tight behind the pink. 25 the difference, 25 on...

Mehta - Wakelin been a missfest. Only two 40+ breaks so far; Mehta 55 and Wakelin 50. Both have had chances in every frame so could be 5-0 to either one. But as they're both playing bottom it's 4-3 with Wakelin looking to force a decider.

He's a new pro 18 year old.
Most notable thing he is done was force Kurt Maflin to a decider in a PTC last year.

Could also be Marcus Campbell's last season on tour.. He's 65th in the End-Season Money List atm so needs wins badly. 3-4 down to John Astley atm though...

Nice little 3-ball plant secures frame 6 for Jones, and we're all square again. 3-3.
