Such is the depth of talent these days, you have to be on your game in every match.

Higgins looked at his best in the 1st frame with a great century break but some key mistakes + great snooker from Milkins means its 3-1 at the interval.

Looks like Higgins has had consistently high pot success this tournament, 93% yesterday and 97% today.
Of course that doesn't take into account running out of position often or the importance of the balls missed.

Looked a decent chance for Higgins, but misses a black off the spot and now the chance is there for Milkins.

Apart from not playing as well as he used to, Higgins doesn't seem to have that fight he had in his younger days, when you always fancied him to make a comeback or at least try.

Mark Davis will win his first ranker this week. This tournament has that sort of feeling once again. Or perhaps Joe Perry

The two matches this afternoon are the Route Neil Robertson has to take to reach the semi final so Robbo will know who he plays up to the semi final before he breaks off in his first match.

Two dismal safeties cost Higgins that frame and the match. Has a month to try and get his game sorted before the season starts up again.
