The only time they played a 2 session match was in 2007 UK Championship Last 32 Joe Perry won 9-6 with Leo Scullion the Referee then as well.

Ah, that makes more sense. It is really weird that so many players are doing better than ever in their 30s and 40s but Higgins and MJW aren't.
