Perry is very twitchy right now! Eyebrows, some long pots, blacks off the spot.

It's understandable though. This match is so much more important for Perry than it is for Robertson.

Perry is more twitchy than Neil, but he's actually still holding his game together quite well considering.

Neil can't afford to wait for Joe to make mistakes, he himself has to make something happen. Perry is no Stevens or Gould.

Yes, of course it's an omen.
When Arsenal won the FA Cup, my first thought was; "I bet Joe Perry wins a ranking event this season...."

9-8 Perry. Looks like Robbo will have to dig deep if he wants this. Doesn't look like Perry will twitch now, but who knows?

So you're saying Neil can sit back and relax because Perry won't get over the line anyway?

That was a very strong frame, Perry showing real mental strength to come back from that missed black off the spot; of course it helps hugely that he still won that last frame. I think if he'd lost that last frame then his head would have been too scrambled to compile that big break.

im saying Neil can afford some mistakes there's no way Perry will win it in one

Yeah that frame to make it 8-8 was huge. Robbo will be kicking himself for that bad attempt on the black that left Perry a decent shot.
