Although I'm imagining it'll be much harder for Adi to get through as I'd say Xiao is a better player than him atm. Still one out of two isn't bad and there have been a few cases of the better player losing already in this event.

Hamilton and Wasley finally finished and in 'only' four hours too. Probably no where near the longest best of seven ever. Any ideas how long that is?

He's the most naturally gifted player I've seen since Ronnie. He will be fine.

yea but that alone is not enough is it ....from a very young age Ronnie had intensity Luca hasent got that's a aspect of his game he has to work at.

Luca seems to be a happy go lucky type of person. He needs to change this mindset abit.

Yep,totaly agree there Jewell,he might be very talented, but the couple of times i,ve watched Brecel play,it looks as though he,s very laid back, too laid back,it,s alright being like that if you,re gettin results, but lately he has,nt bein getting them,he,s definately gonna have to work on his mindset and approach to the game otherwise he,s gonna be stuck in 1st,2nd gear and will struggle to even get past round 1 and 2,never mind bein able to reach the latter stages of tournaments.

Trump continueing his bad patch,he can,t even get past round 1neither!. :dizzy:

Luca is currently inside the 64 on the provisional money list. I expect him to knuckle down in the bigger events and make his place for next year more secure.

Luca does seem to get himself worked up when he misses a few or has bad run but equally when he's on song nothing appears to bother him. You forget of course that's he's still very young. Wait until he's 21-23 and see how good his results are then before judging how far he can go in the game because I think he'll win the World Championship at some point, maybe on multiple occasions.

Re: Indian Open Last 128 Discussion !!

Last season Luca had a major breakthrough at the UK Championship reached the Quarter Final beating Walden and Ebdon on route and pushed Murphy Very hard in the Quarters losing 6-5 but after that it fell to pieces winning just 1 Match after christmas a PTC Beating John Whitty 4-1.

this season not started that well for him either.

he needs to stabalise and start getting decent results against players down the rankings before we talk about him as a potential champion

Exactly Wildey, very generous of SONNY thinking he,ll win the Worlds," maybe on multiple occasions".

We,ll just have to wait n see.

Adi 2-0 up on Xiao. That's a (pleasant) surprise. Must be very motivated to qualify and play in front of his home crowd.

Well MJW's made short work of Swail. That loss to Gilbert must've focused him. I know he wants to be in top 16 for the Masters seeding cut off at least.

Xiao is a mug, very rarely gets to venues. So Adi winning is no surprise.

Xiao's made every venue this season so far and is a great breakbuilder when he gets going... Shows what you know.

Anyway, Xiao on the comeback trail, closes to 2-3.
