Not envisioning Angles v Fergal finishing on time. Only 2-1 and just an hour left.
Lawler as depending on if tries to comeback.

Fergal's 4-1 win over Angles means that the closest Hawkins will get to the Grand Finals is watching it on TV.
Pinches and Baird still battling on

Well done Murphy on gettin his 3rd max!.
I love how Eurosport managed to switch cameras just on time which showed him potting the final black.
The maximum man of the moment meet his dear, beloved freind Maguire in the 1/4 finals.

What happened there? The ref misplaced a ball?
Murphy will have a post match moan about it afterwards.

Who will he moan to though? There are no post matches until the final and by then he'll be so happy/disappointed he'll have forgotten.

Anyway, looked like Mags was about to clear for 2-1, but snookered himself on the green.

True.
Though, Murphy usually find somebody to moan at.
If it was Mark Allen, he'd take to twitter.

Decider alert between Smurph and Mags.
Have to say, Smurph has played better overall imo.

Murphy over the line. Played the more solid in the decider.
Has the winner of Selt v Trump next, Selt currently 3-1.

If he beats Murphy, it'll be even better as he'll go the PTC Grands, knocking out Gary Wilson from the top 24.

Have to say, this'll be the best chance Murphy's had in a long time to win an event, no offence to the rest.

If you count the points he'll get for PTC finals, that win puts Baird into the end of season money list Top 64

Smurph finishes off Selt with relative ease, 4-1.
Baird or Fergal'll have their work cut out.

It's no coincidence that this happened now, after he has been taking care of his diet. Jimmy White should have been doing that 20 years ago. Physical fitness is too often overlooked in games like snooker.

Plus it must've taken some time to get used to his new cue. I think he had his previous one since he started playing?
