Good spot.
Perhaps they're taking it more seriously?
Sort-of 8 non-Chinese if you're willing to count Hong Kong's Au Chi Wai, whose name in Mandarin is Ōu Zhìwĕi. Good spot by the folks at snooker.org to realise this is the same player that was runner-up in the Mike Yow Memorial in Malaysia earlier this year, as well as Silver medalist in the Asian Games Snooker Doubles in 2002 playing alongside Marco Fu (I hadn't made the connection).

These are very important events Just look at Scott Donaldson he is securing his tour spot for 2014/2015 while others decide its not worth the bother.

Donaldson's opponent Lǚ Chēnwĕi could secure himself a tour spot with another good run, so no pushover - Donaldson still has to get the job done ...

currently Dott is 3,755 points off a Masters Spot.
the top 16 based on ranking points get into the Masters then?
Does Ronnie get into it and play in a Wildcard round then?
Sorry, ive been a bit out of touch with the snooker since the World Champs and not fully up to speed this season.

But then Donaldson is set to qualify via the Euro PTCs. If that happens which one takes precedence? Ie. Which ptc tour gets the extra place?

In 2006 it was top 15 plus Murphy so i'd imagine it'll be top 15 plus O'Sullivan next year.

Puts Wilson back as top money earner of the new/returning players this year (ahead of Kyren Wilson and David Morris), and closing in on his stated aim of making it into the top 64 as fast as possible. I assume if any (all?) of these make it into the top 64 on the money list, players who miss out on the top 64 as a result risk being off the tour unless qualified through the European or Asian Tour routes?

it just shows how manageable it is to make money both Wilsons have topped the £20,000 barrier in 5 months on the tour....That works out at about £1,000 a Week wages.
