Sure aren't, the number of players out there is massive.

Been doing some digging trying to get information on some of the players, found a somewhat weird translation of a Chinese article about yesterdays play - hope I've understood these snippets correctly!

Matthew Selt's upcoming opponent who is listed as Yuan Siyun (what I found says Yuansi Jun) is 13 years old.

Cai Jianzhong who plays Scott Donaldson in Round 2 is a former Chinese national champion.

Zhu Yinghui who is Reanne's opponent next week lost today to Li Yuan. Zhu Yinghui is a teenager from Inner Mongolia.

They describe Guan Zhen beating Sun Peng as a shock (we wouldn't have known!)

Some of the lines are quite impossible for me to work out e.g. "Additionally, Lei Chen Jinlong 4-2 out, 4-0 Lin handsome horsemen". Just love online translation engines!

Other lines make sense in a bizarre way, this on Mark Williams defeat (his opponent Ju Reti's name seems to translate as 'thermal', 'hot thermal' or similar- Hot Thermal Titan seems a good name for an introduction at a tournament somewhere!):

"This year Yixing Open, Williams ranks first round against thermal mention. Two-time world champion, Welsh champion Mark - William Williams ranks first show contestant Xinjiang hot face lift, the results after five innings, Williams lost 1-4 upset, stop the first round ... it is worth mentioning that last year Yixing Open, Williams in the second round they waged war, when the two men in the 1st two relay stations, the first surface The home of the world-class champion hot too tight to mention, the final 0-4 defeat speed out".

"Turning to today's victory, the highest thermal Titan made himself very excited in the field, is with a revenge mentality. 'This opponent is quite accurate, I lost him last year, so this is revenge to me, bent He was to win, so we played better. 'Habitat hot mentioning said."

Love that it sounds funny, but a good quote in there from Ju Reti too ...

Edit : Just adding, the list of articles is here - http://www.best-news.us/b6/

I read some articles before knew that Cai Jianzhong was Ding Junhui's coach before Ding turned pro.
Cai currently is the coach of Chinese snooker national team, and also scouting many Chinese young players

Unbelievably careless from Graeme there. He should have lost that frame. I'll put it down to jet lag though lol.
Through 4-2, that boy was a decent player though.

I'm using snooker.org's tournament page. I don't know where they get their info from, but it seems to agree with what you've been posting and doesn't they don't change their mind about scores midmatch.

It's typical of World Snooker that they advertise and link to Live Scoring and then don't actually have any. Their prolific use of Flash ads will slow down any but the most high end pc's or Laptops. It's just pure greed, they get marginally more from the flash ads than they would from a static based ad, which would be less intrusive than flash and java based ads especially on the Live Scoring page. I asked Hearn about this and I got his usual stock non answer "Living in the real world now". Well we live in his real world and I for one will be blocking his flash ads from now on.
I'm willing to do my bit by paying for Liveworldsnooker.tv like I have done but they are just taking the snake hiss out of fans by squeezing as much as they can onto a page. I'm done with them.

the standard of snooker shown by Yan Bingtao to take the opening frame off Ding just highlights how we haven't even started to scratch the surface of potential in chinese snooker.

These chinese boys can play a bit it seems. Graeme was 2- 2 and 63 up and the chinese lad hit a 64 and then from 48 up he never got another shot as Quintian hit a 97.
If all these boys turn pro and can deal with the homesickness, well China will dominate.
