Steve eventually falls over the line. 8-5. Still a long way to go if he wants to win...

Thats a great result for Kyren.
ok Rod Lawler not a top player but hes the type that can frustrate young players in to submission so for kyren to win 10-3 is impressive.

Careless positional shot from Wells leaves a toughish pink which he misses, but Kurt misses it and it's 8-7 now.
Kurt must be getting nervous now...

Awkward red is potted and now just the colours...
Blue is off the spot though, could be an issue.

And Maflin finishes off Wells 10-7. Decent fightback from Daniel but not enough this time.

Funny that if Steve does fall off he'll very fortunately have more time to promote his autobiography. I reckon once he's done that he'll just jump straight back on the tour.

At the point of no return, Steve Davis pulls out a great clearance. Should have made a century. Needs 4 more.

Unlucky there, missed a long blue on 97, would have been good to see him get a century in probably his last ever match as a professional. Its quite a moment really when you think about it. He must be thinking about it when he breaks off ''this could be my last break off as a professional''
