Yeah think so but this match had all the makings of being very close, at 8-3 it didn't seem likely but Wells bravely fought back and now looks set to complete the comeback.

And that's Wells over the line.

And Wakelin's comeback from 7-2 just falls short, Davison taking it on the blue in the decider.

Although a lot of the players about to drop off are better than him so, it'll be tough for him and many others, nevermind the amateurs.

A respotted black wouldn't be a bad way to end the night, unless you're one of those players that will have nightmares after this match.
