Told you, since the match started had a feeling it would be very close, and so it has proved.
Wells could make the frame winning break here.

Decider #2 between Snowy and Wakelin. Davison was 7-2 up at one point as well.

Still wasn't Clark 8-3 up at one point? And looks like Wells will take this, almost over the line, with just one more red needed...

Yeah think so but this match had all the makings of being very close, at 8-3 it didn't seem likely but Wells bravely fought back and now looks set to complete the comeback.

And Wakelin's comeback from 7-2 just falls short, Davison taking it on the blue in the decider.

Means that Leslie is the first player that entered the Worlds to be definitely knocked off the tour.

Obviously. Just pointing it out.
Although a lot of the players about to drop off are better than him so, it'll be tough for him and many others, nevermind the amateurs.

And at 1:14 a.m the match is still going, now in the decider with 43 points left on the table, advantage to Xin Long.
Hopefully the ref doesn't have to be out there tomorrow (today) morning at 10 a.m

O'Neill now needs a 4 point snooker to tie the scores at 61 points each.
A respotted black wouldn't be a bad way to end the night, unless you're one of those players that will have nightmares after this match.

He doesn't get the snooker and duly concedes, Xin Long wins 10-9.

How will Mike Dunn play in Sheffield after being in China on Saturday for the semi-finals? Too jetlagged to play well, or still be on some kind of form?
Love to see him qualify for the tournament, but seems unlikely.

so far he is 2-0 down but i bet he would rather have reached the China semi finals than be fresh for this.
