On Twitter someone suggested that as a plan forward and a player said he would hate being in china for a long period of time so they dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.
World Snooker did plan that for the World Open, PTC Grand Finals in Thailand and then the China Open But there was Political upheaval in thailand so they had to change things around.
