Tuesday 25th ~ Saturday 29th of March at the Guild Hall Preston

Gerard Greene in only his second World Ranking semi final will have a feeling of Déjà vu 7 years on from his first semi final as he plays Marco Fu again.

And Judd Trump will be hoping to pick up his 4th ranking event as he takes on Barry Hawkins for a place in the final.

Who will be the Finalists?

DRAW

Semi Finals

Gerard Greene v Marco Fu Marco Fu leads 4-0
------------------------------------------
Barry Hawkins v Judd Trump Trump leads 4-3

I've just read an "inside snooker" article. The article was entitled "Trump Turns On The Style In Preston". In it a certain Hector Nunns (I assume that is his real name) claims that Trump, and I quote " is keen to add a fourth ranking title to his CV". What evidence has this "Hector Nunns" got for such a preposterous assertion? I have never seen a single CV relating to any professional snooker player, never mind Judd Trump. Why would they even need a CV anyway? Also, how does this Hector know what specific things Judd is "keen" on? >-(

Trump - Hawkins should be closer, not that easy to call but Trump played the better snooker of the two so far. I expect Judd to win this 4-2 or 4-3.

The same here <ok>

Concerning the Crucible seedings:

With the seeds 1-4 and 8-16 already assigned, it leaves only Trump, Bingham and Hawkins in uncertainty.
But it's really simple tomorrow:

if Trump wins the title tomorrow it will be:
5: Trump
6: Hawkins
7: Bingham

if Trump doesn't win the title tomorrow it will be:
5: Hawkins
6: Bingham
7: Trump

Has Ronnie definitely got Perry then? He'd prefer Perry to Allen any day.

Definately agree SO.

Also long safety bouts somehow don't seem to favour Fu at all, he's a more fluent player and not someone like Selby who can easily mix the two type of games.

When he goes long periods of time without balls potted he struggles.
