This is the Allen - Greene match all over again, with Fu taking Allen's role.

Greene's played some good shots to win the frame in the end, but really shouldn't have had this chance.

I like Greene but I don't want him to make the final, especially Trump would steamroll him I'm afraid.

Yeah it is, Marco needs some fluent scoring now to win this match.
He's definately not gonna win it by grinding it down.

Marco Fu's form is up and down more often than a W_ _ _ _'_ D _ _ _ _ _ _.

Chance for Fu. Balls a lot more open than other frames.

He has to take this chance and win the frame with a 70 break...

Interesting then.
Robbo v Allen should be a cracker, but Robbo will get the better of him I feel if both meet.
Ronnie v Perry
Can't see Joe winning more than 8 or 9 frames and that's pushing the boat out a bit
So Robbo will get the better of him if they both meet? Please explain how only one of them will meet?

Greene had Marco on the ropes after he missed that easy blue but now it's match on again!

And makes a ton as well. Hopefully he'll carry on like this.

Greene will need multiple chances to win this match, he's not scoring that heavily also there's huge pressure getting over that winning line.

Looks like this frame will be a scrap as well. That'll favour Greene.

And Greene takes it. Could be a very one sided final tonight...

squeeky bum time for Greene, so close to his biggest pay day of his career.

Done now. Think Greene could get battered if he faces Trump, but I think he could sucker Hawkins into a scrap more easily.

What an upset!
But I think we all agree, Greene wouldn't have made the final if this wasn't a best of 7 tournament.

Agreed. Another reason why I want Hawkins to win the second semi.

Don't see why. Apart from his match with Hamilton, the closest he was taken to was 4-2, where he likely would've gone to win, if it were best of 9.

We'll never be 100% sure but I'd agree with you.
If it's Trump v Greene I expect a similar final to the PTC4 in Furth one between him and Ronnie, but if it's Hawkins v Greene like Skull says many frames could go scrappy and that will favour Greene.

Hopefully this next semi is a bit better, not that this one was that bad as it had good safety, but Hawkins v Trump will be more of a pot fest I think.

I said it yesterday already but I want to repeat it:
The money rankings will make a massive difference for Greene.
With the old rankings he was No. 69 before the tournament started and should he win it, it would take him up to No. 59
With the money rankings he was No. 68 before the tournament started and should he win it, it would take him up to No. 21!

Also, this tournament has the largest disparity in terms of points v money. This is the smallest tournament apart from PTCs in terms of points, while moneywise only the Worlds, UK and IC are bigger.
