Looks like Joe realized he's due to play Ronnie in the last 16 if he doesn't have to good run here...

He got told off by the ref too. I think the ref said "who do you think you are, Stephen Maguire".

And Carter will be praying he won't have to play Ronnie 3 years running.

It also shows just how out of sorts Selby was yesterday, Perry had no trouble dealing with the man who whitewashed him.

Perry could be a real dark horse this week. Easily the best player of the day so far.

Gilbert really didn't do a lot wrong.

The short format will certainly suit him. But he has a tough draw, very tough to be exact.

I can't help but think that if MJW and Higgins sorted out their diet and got really fit that they would be proper contenders again. 30 points better than they are now. As you get older you need to employ every weapon in your armoury.

Who here expects a Murphy win tonight?
I think he will, and it will be some sort of revenge because Judd has had the better of him numerous times in recent meetings and overall.
Should be a good match.

He is the obvious example, Shaun Murphy too.
Eating healthy and getting fit makes you happier anyway, it totally tunes your brain up as well as your body. It stops it misfiring and having negative thoughts. They are bound to feel better about themselves and therefore play some good snooker.

Namely?
Allen win over Hamilton or Greene
Would mean
Allen moves to quarter 3
carter joins quarter 4

I think so too.
But first up, the Rocket. 4-0 or 4-1?

Fed his way past his best nowadays and can virtually lose to anyone, Ronnie... well... what can we say... he's probably playing the most consistent snooker of his career

Think it will be 4-1 this time, and remember they have had a Best of 7 match before and Ronnie only won 4-3.
