How many wins would allen need to move quarters ?
At the moment he's in the bottom quarter with Robbo. Perry can overtake him as we discussed earlier. If Mark makes the semis here, he would switch places with Carter and play Selby in the last 16.
cheers
allen has a nice draw here

Yes he has but he won't one at the Crucible, regardless of what happens here. That's the price for not performing all season and to be honest, I can't see him beating Selby or Robbo never mind Ronnie this year.

True GJ, but even if that happened Ronnie would win I'm sure.
But Robbo v Allen... hum not sure, but fancy Robbo nonetheless.

I also wouldn't like Ronnie having to play Allen but like you I still would be very confident.
But he has a tough quarter final with Murphy/Fu, so Perry would be preferable in the last 16.

This has been a good season for Ronnie. Even though he hasn't entered that many tournaments, he has still won three big events.
If he can add this one and the world title, it will make a laughing stock out of his rivals.

No. It would just confirm that Ronnie is the best player in the world by some distance. The way Ronnie is playing in 2014 so far, he's unplayable.

Been away from TVs and wifi since the tournament started, anything noteworthy I've missed? I've already seen all the match scores BTW.
