Selby needs to take 6-12 months away from snooker. Just completely switch off and recharge his batteries.

I think it would do him the world of good to have a break because right now he looks pathetic and completely faded out.

Not sure which commentator thought that a win tonight would be 'the biggest in Dave's career', but I'm sure his win at the crucible tops a best of 7 tonight.

But even at 3 nil down in a Best of 7 match we can never write someone like Selby off because even not playing good he can somehow win these type of matches.

But he's playing even worse than his standard B game that he uses to win these sorts of matches.

My bold prediction is if Gilbert doesnt win 4-0 or 4-1, Selby wins the match.

Would be typical that the one time I decide to go watch a snooker event live my two favourite players get knocked out first round.

Despite him beating Selby, I hope Gilbert beats Perry tomorrow, I'm a fan of his game.
