A lot of Selby comebacks do involve the player in front starting to miss more. I think most comebacks from great deficits do.

But Murphy could have won all 3 frames, he had multiple chances and started missing sitters.

Selby at his best was known for completely shutting his opponents out in these situations, he's not doing that today.

To be honest, Selby doesn't deserve to win all 4 frames before the interval the way he's playing.

Murphy stops the rot. Bit more breathing space now but Selby definitely playing better than he was in the morning.

massive frame in the context of the match Murphy will still feel confident at 8-5 at 7-6 it would be twitchy to say the least

And now with the money rankings that final is becoming even bigger. 4 frames to win 62.000£ (15.500 per frame).

In World Championship final it's 18 frames to win 175.000£ (9.722 per frame). That doesn't feel right.

Meanwhile, Murphy needs one snooker otherwise it's 8-6.
