I don't think Allen will win it this week but if he does it would be a truly remarkable achievement.

Amazing how Allen plays so well here and has been pants in most other events.

Depends who he faces. There are a handful of players he can't buy a win against, Robbo, ROS and Judd.

God John Higgins safety play is woeful today so far

If Allen put the work in he would be more consistent , his talent and bottle are top class.

Dotty was on a max but an unlucky split for Dott means he had a tough shot to play for black on 56.

Could go 3-0 down going for max before ensuring the frame.

Haven't seen the Ivy Zhu,the chinese ref, in some time. I seem to remember her having a ranking final as well (may have been the Welsh final Mags won?)

Well despite their H2H, last.only time they contested a final it went to a decider, and their matches tend to be close.

Higgins levels at the MSI. Be interesting to see if Allen pulls away like he did last time, or whether it'll be closer.
