Higgins of a couple of years ago here.
Yeah. This is the Higgins from 2010/11. Still he hasn't lost a frame in this tournament so far.
god Judd making it easy for him though
But don't try and underestimate what Higgins has done so far in this tourney.
Think many, including you actually, have written him off and we can never write someone like Higgins off because when we least expect him to he can win a tournament.

Difference is Hendry practised loads to get his attacking game so consistent that he could do without safety.
Difference is. Hendry had a brillant breakbuilding and cue control, Judd hasn't. That's why Hendry is 7 times World Champ and that's why Judd lost that final 2011 when he had chances in every single frame but missed due to positional play.
Couldn't agree more.

Also Hendry was so confident of potting a ball he didn't try hedging his bets with shots to nothing or deep screws to balk.
Judd playing too negative as if he half expects to pot balls.

Don't know why Higgins is going for blue. Pretty sure the brown is on.

That's true but this is the first time in ages Higgins isn't missing sitters and mishitting all the long pots

case in point hendry would have played for the black or brown ball not trying to deep screw to safety and cocking it up

IMO Higgins is light years ahead of Judd on a overall game level, Judd only has an edge with long potting.
Having grown up playing the likes of Hendry and ROS, Higgins doesn't get intimidated by Judd's potting and won't be susceptible to the pressure scary potting can apply to most.

Here you see. Run of the balls can decide a lot in a best of 7. Couple of luck in this frame now.

Yeah Higgins won't be phased by Judd's long potting and just keeps his game going normal service.
But Judd so far has been awful in this match.

Want Higgins to beat a Judd Trump playing well as it will help his confidence. Correct predicts score wouldn't hurt though

This is much better from Trump. Still Higgins hasn't done much wrong so far.

2-2 barring snookers. That plant looks like a turning point.

Makes Ding huge favourite for the quarter. Ding will face Walker next if he beats Scott Donaldson.
