What did he write/say?. :-)

Something like he'd seen the Quarter Final line up, and was thinking of coming out of retirement.

Anyway Ding oozes class, a joy to watch.

Yeah noticed about the refs...

And Ding like you say is a joy to watch in his breakbuilding, the way he opens up the balls always with perfect position.

Hendry like everyone else knows that the standard has plunged and it,s nowhere near as high as some like to make it out to be.

All this,"the standards so high theeeessse days",is pure n utter rubbish, everyone who has been watching snooker for many years or who has half a brain knows this full well.

The ones who like to say that its so high theeese days are just saying it to hype up the game, promote the sport, they probably think if they don,t keep mentioning it,then they,ll lose followers, fans and that the tv ratings would plunge, the way they sometimes ramble on it,s as if most of the current crop clear up in 1 visit in every single frame, rarely lose position, play almost flawless saftety play, shoot one Big break after the other, etc, etc!. <doh> <doh>

They might fool some 16 year olds who don,t have much clue about snooker,or people who did,nt even watch snooker in the 90,s/00,s but they don,t fool people who know there snooker, who have been following it for many, many years!.

It,s also become a great excuse for some players when they lose, they like to blame the so-called high standards for there losses. <laugh>
Most of the players just aren,t bl**dy consistent enough!.

Day also 3 nil ahead against Xiao, surprising result I think, Xiao definately needs to be 3-1 down otherwise 4 nil may be too much to ask.

Yeah, been donkey doo years since he played this well, probably since his 2008 Grand Prix Final loss against Higgins.

Yeah

At his best his breakbuilding was top 8 standard , his issue was mainly lacking the killer instinct and then he had a run of bad results dropped out of top 16 and he never got out of the losing habit.

Judd the last 8 weeks has looked world class... when the pressure is off, but when it counts has been very average. Will be interesting to see tomorrow whether he can up his game.

Don't know the exact time but seems about right. 90 minutes subtracting time between frames, MSI and time getting the players is about 70 minutes.

Hendry has a very short memory, it seems.

It was only two seasons ago when Maguirs smashed him into retirement. That sort of punishment would be the norm if Hendo ever came back from retirement.
