No-one trotted that old line out more than your man Hendo did for about the last 10 years of his career <doh>

Hendry line was "im playing well in practice but thers no point doing it on the practice table" Jimmy still seems to think its a matter of time before he turns it around and beside Hendry hadent fallen down anywhere near as far as Jimmy has.

Jimmy if i was you id start looking for your school bag and pencil case its off to school for you mate.

I don't know why anyone feels the need to come on here and bash Jimmy White, quite frankly. Yes, his best days are behind him, but you cannot help but admire the man's enthusiasm for the game.

If the likes of Trump, Lisowski etc had half of Jimmy's love for the game, they'd be doing much better than they are.

Ants beats Allen 5-3. That's the fourth top 16 seed knocked out today, and seventh in total. A lot harder for the top players when they don't have the benefit of the 1 v128 system.

The least Jimmy deserves is to be shown some respect from some around here

To be fair to him he's had some health issues for some time and after the foot operation he's getting fitter, leaner and is winning some matches.

Luca Brecel has all the talent in the world but he ssems to know nothing about the tactical side of the game. He always seems to make stupid misstake s and has no clue about playing safe and stuff... I wish someone would help him with this. Maybe Terry Griffiths should train him a bit. He needs to learn how to win matches against experienced pro's.

Well done "Angles" Alan,John Haggis and Ants McGill!. <ok>

I wonder what Allen will be saying/tweeting about this defeat. <laugh>

Most of the players,if not all of them like to say that they,ve been/they,re playing well in practice, but of course at the end of the day that means sod all if they can,t/don,t produce the goods in tournaments.

I can understand Wild as well as some others being tired of Jimmy regarding saying it,but yeah, regardless of that,Jimmy should get the upmost respect,he,s an absolute legend, one of the greats,a fantastic ambassador for the game, great lad,we should admire the man for all that he,s done/is still doing for the game and for still wanting to play on after all these years, his love for the game, just like we should admire "The Nugget".

Well, he can't be all that talented then if he knows nothing about the tactical side of the game.

I was busy last night.

So Dale beat Davis, did he? :chin: He was probably buoyed on by his Shootout win. <laugh>

Be good to see him against Higgins tonight, if that is in fact the match. It'll be the first German Masters I've seen so far this year.
