I suspect he doesn't take Bingham seriously as a threat compared to Robbo or Ding despite being 8-8.

And Bingham misses that difficult red with the rest and Ronnie with a very good clearance!

I wouldn't be that sure, the way Ronnie's playing, Bingo can very well level the match.
If it goes 9 all, then I'll favour Ronnie for obvious reasons, but this final isn't won yet. He has to be careful.

It's a tense big final, mistakes are bound to happen. Ronnie isn't playing reckless.

Ronnie in again. Could be the last frame, but I don't think it'll be a one visiter.

And Ronnie wins. No where near his best, but did what he needed to.
But he has to improve his match stamina. No good running out of form after three matches in the UK.

Ronnie dominated the Premier League and has become the first winner of it's replacement.

The standard wasn't great but boy it was tense yet again. I think Ronnie fully deserves this title after his victories over Ding and Robertson.

So pleased with his win, truly deserves it. The better player won, simple as that.
I do agree Bingo had sometimes been very unlucky in this match, but that's part of the game and at the end he didn't make the most of his chances because he too like Ronnie missed several key balls.
On to the presentation party.

I'm bucking relieved. I was expecting everything when it was 8:8 but Ronnie did it.
Match was poor but the slightly better player has won at the end.

Yeah me too, Bingo could really have won it too had he made the most of his chances in these last few frames, which he didn't.
Ronnie really had to battle to win this title, and boy did he do it.

If this was the crappy Beeb wed have had "wages time" by now and an episode of Coast would be on.
ITV will give us some great post match interviews and analysis.
A big thumbs up from me for ITV and the tournament as a whole.

hendry_fan wrote:It,s ridiculous how much luck Ronnie has had in this match,i,ve lost count the number of times he missed a pot and then got away with,or if he did leave something, often he left a difficult, awkward pot!
He also got away with it,often left nothing on,,/easy after playing a sloppy safety on numerous accasions and often covered a pot by pure luck+ he often got lucky nudges,cannons.!.
Bingham would have won by now if Ronnie was,nt so lucky!.
Ronnies been very jammy in this match!.
Pure gibberish.
You were clearly watching a different match from me.

Hendry Fan
What about all the luck Hendry had by playing in a weak era and "getting byes to the quarter finals of every event" ??
