The shortest respot ever belongs to Mark Williams though, attempted the ultra thin cut on the black and potted it! Don't remember which tourney it was, but at the time he always attempted a thin cut on the black if it was a respot.

Technically Ricky has because he won a wildcard match against Mark King in 2009.
Good thing they got rid of these wildcard and qualification matches. The Masters is supposed to be only for the best of best and no one else.
He had just won the Shaghai Masters winning seven matches, including against Robbo, Selby and ROS. If that doesn't count you among the best, what does?
With the rolling rankings every winner of a ranking event will be at the Masters nowadays. Walden deserved to be at the Masters that year but otherwise the wildcard rounds were a bit of a drag with the likes of White and McLeod playing there.

But yet again the less interesting match on paper turns out to be the better match.

Think Hawkins has done it as well in the Aussie Open he won.

Definately match of the tournament so far.

Chance for Barry now. Would be an impressive break considering what happened the last three frames.

So do you think Ronnie will get into the semis 6-1 or 6-2?
