buck's sake, Ding really doesn't have his head screwed on today. Going for that yellow was silly.

It's not like it matters against this opponent.

Is it part of your calorie-controlled diet?

It was my daily exercise. I had to walk from the living room to the kitchen.

I was just about to make a comment like; "This is more like it from Parsons", and he misses.

Neither Ding nor Ronnie playing well atm. Bet whoever came up with the 1 v 128 idea is glad. A tougher lower ranked pro would've punished them.

Ding is 3-0 up, but playing really badly.
If he was playing somebody more used to the television cameras, he'd probably be losing.

Rhys looks very nervous. Can't seem to stay in good position when he gets in.

Not this time. Snookered himself on the black, missed the pink and given Rhys Clark a chance.

Agree with Ken, Ronnie wants to win 6-0 or 6-1, he will of course the way Clark is playing, because the top boys have lots of matches to play.
Would like Clark to win at least a frame though.

I wouldn't say the Ding and Ronnie matches are good examples why we need the flat draws.

The standard has been a bit low, hasn't it? Or it has been in this Ding match.
At present we got Ding playing so badly, he'd lose to anybody else. The fact that Parsons, who won't be used to the television cameras and isn't playing himself took a frame off Ding before the MSI really shows how poorly Ding is playing.

It's not the flat draws but rather the strict 1 v 128 seeding structure that Ding and Ronnie's matches show the weaknesses of.

Ding wouldn't play like this against a top player
