Hopefully Mark Allen can put a bad end to last season behind him and start this season off with a win. I imagine he won't travel to Australia so it's important he makes it through here.

Reanne Evans had a chance in frame 2 after a long red missed a green screwing back for the reds leaving Thepchaya in the balls and looks like going 2-0 up

its just madness full stop without supporting the fledgling tournaments snooker will never get to a status of a world sport. as barry hearn said in his letter losing the Aussie open would be a massive backward step to the sport and he expected every player to support it well he didn't get that support.
