I reckon he probably ground his way through, if I had to make a guess.
a bit of both but the only thing that matters is win the match its up to players to work out best way to do that.

I do get sick of the commentators acting like every bad shot is a kick.
Commentator: "Oooh, that was a bad kick. Lets see the replay......"
[The replay confirms there was no kick whatsoever. ]
Commentator: You just hate to see that at this level.

Come on Dale today.
I expect Neil to make short work of Jamie "I Can't" Cope. By the sound of it the Australians don't put the same pressure on Neil that the Chinese do to Ding. Namely because most Australina don't know who Robertson is.

Robert Milkins 3-1 Ben Woollaston
Breaks of 85 and 112 from Milkins and a 87 from Woollaston in a high Quality Encounter.
Earlier Mark Davis crawled over the line against Paul Davison. In frame 6 Mark Davis made a Break of 104 followed by a 124 from Paul Davison to take a 4-3 lead then Frame 8 Davis won 61-60 with a top break of 14 and in the Decider Davis made a break of 23 to win the Decider 58-50.
in the other Match Marco Fu opened up a 3-0 lead with breaks of 60, 46 and 42 before Doherty hit Back with a 116 before the interval to make it 3-1. then immediately after the MSI Marco went 4-1 up with a break of 102 before doherty with runs of 43 and 32 won the next frame to pull a frame back before Marco closed down the match 5-2 52 points to 49 .
