Lee Page was reduced to 27 points as Aditya Mehta powered through to round 3 with breaks of 76, 72, 55 and 51.

Luca Brecel beat Ryan Clark 5-1 with a break of 112 but rest of the match was patchy but still too strong for Ryan Clark.

Daniel Wells really is a flop i expected so much more from him and hes not delivering at all Lost 5-1 to Liam Highfield and highfield won 2 of those frames with a top break of 18 and 12 respectively.

and Rod Lawler poor start to the season continues as he was beaten 5-1 by new Pro Ross Muir . Muir hardly blew him off the table it was a strugle for him but this season is a contrast to last so far for Lawler

Sean O'Sullivan summed up his own performance today as load of Rubbish and he wasent wrong hes a much better player than some of his Results shows Chen Zhe although made Breaks of 98, 72 and 60 in the match he was given too many chances on a plate.

Zhang Anda opened up his match with Oliver Lines with breaks of 51, 78, 82 and 65 in the first 4 frames to open up a 4-0 lead and then it went wrong Oliver Lines without playing sparkling stuff clawed back to 4-4 with one break of 51 before Zhang closed it out 60 points to 3 in the decider.

Michael Wasley was 3-1 down to Ashley Carty before he went 4-3 up with breaks of 92, 65 and 77 in absolutely no time limiting carty to 14 points and Wasley won frame 8 by 82 points to 41 to win the Match 5-4.

You've been on the Lovesnooker live scores as well Wildey? I was texting pretty much those stats to my practice buddy just a few minutes ago. He's gone for Donaldson over Duffy but Duffy was scoring better in the previous round so I think he'll win.

Those Lovesnooker scores are great for reviewing matches but it's crap on mobiles.

Yes of course he has a chance, just speaking in terms of who you'd back if you had money on it. I thought Donaldson but then after seeing the data from the previous match I'd go with Duffy.

yea its just hard to keep track of matches as they happen i did watch the O'Sullivan v chen Zhe match and sean was dire it has to be said.

It costs money to employ commentators so they tend to leave it until the last round under the previous format but probably won't have any in round 1 flat 128s this season.

Pankaj hitting the ball nice in frame 2 to level up at 1-1

Re: Australian Goldfields Open Qualifying Discussion !!

Postby Dannyboy

Yu Delu should've won frame 3 by now. Inexplicable error, running out of position, with the colours on their spots, getting ahead after being about 30 points behind.

... and loses. Jimmy goes 3-0 up. The standard has been poor from both players.

Scot :-D Knew he could do it. One more match to reach the venue, but it's Rory McLeod...

Scot seems to be less like your typical young player who pots first and asks questions later, but not sure how his more measured approach will work against Rory. There are few people who can take Rory on at his own game, and I don't think Scot is one of them.

only 9 players that played in round 1 got through Round 2 out of 32 players and bloody Tony Drago was one.

no disrespect to Tony but hes so far off his best and his very best wasent that hot in the first place id have expected the likes of Tian to beat him.
