Great wins for Elliot Slessor and Kyren Wilson over Cao Yupeng and Alan McManus respectively.

Hm.. Now World snooker livesport terminated the event mid decisive frame between Li Hang and Liu Chuang, apparently because clock struck midnight here. Only thing comming up when I try to sign out and sign in again is: "Sorry, the event your'e trying to watch is already over."
I'm really getting my money worth of entertainment here...

Pinches vs Bedord started at 7pm. It is now 1.05am and Pinches has just taken the 7th frame to make it 4-3 Bedford. I have one question.
Why doesn't Barry Hearn pay Barry Pinches severance pay or reduncancy so he quits the tour? He could offer him £500,000 on the condition that he never goes anywhere near a snooker table every again.
Pinches is far and away the most nauseating player ever to disgrace the green baize.

Just got in and indeed it is.
Match STILL GOING AT 3:02 A.M
Only pink and black left, Bedford leads 54-38 in the deciding frame, therefore Pinches already needs a snooker.
He just won't give in won't he.. Hell, if he has endured this far, might as well try for the snooker of course.

Not that it matters much after such a long match

7 hours and 55 minutes is completely out of order for a best of 9. I dont care what anyone says.

Anyone who disagrees with that would kill the game
It's always exciting to watch safety battles and so on, but that amount of time for a best of 9 is obviously way too much, but anyway Bedford won't mind that at all and he would have stayed there 8 more hours if it meant the win.

theres more posting and contribution on the this tread from people than any other match of the qualifiers so its not that bad.
if every match was like that it would be a problem but once in a while i find it funny ans obviously a talking point.
in 1983 World Championship the final session of a best of 25 frame match between Griffiths and Thorburn took over 7 hours to complete and finished about 4am that didn't do snooker much harm did it,

At least it was tucked away in the qualifiers, it would be worse if there were an actual audience. I'm sure there were similar sized ones in there before and that didn't kill the game.

I'm not saying it will kill the game, but it certainly won't do it any good. The press, the ones who know sod all and cant be bothered to research will just latch onto something like that and twist it into negativity.

they will latch on to anything and turn it in to negativity if they want to even a match that finishes in a hour with 5 centuries.
