Let's imagine that i'm on a maximum, i pot the last black and before it stops, my opponent comes to the table and touches the white.
What is it? (except stupidity
)
1) Black counts as normally
2) 4-point foul
3) 7-point foul

If it's (1), every player can save an opponents maximum from a white ball pot disaster..

OK - so the white was going in-off. You might need to wait until somebody more knowledgeable comes along.
Anyone?

Ignore him - he used to eat too much beef and it messed with his brain. Someone will give the correct answer I am sure.

The offender is given a 7 point foul, but the 147 break will still count as normal.
If the striker touched the cue ball though, then he would be stuck on 140 and his opponent awarded 7 points.

So, the possibility to save your opponent's maximum by catching the cue ball before it drops in the pocket, is still on
Let's make it more funny. If a fan from the crowd invades in and does the same, is the maximum "alive"?
P.S. Sorry
. All that began from a football video that i was watching with a mate, where a ball boy behind the goal, invades in and kicks the ball away before it passes the line...
