Thought I'd start with a question. Who do the forum think will be the next 1st time world champion? Personally I'd say Ding Junhui or Judd Trump

I can't see Ding winning it for a while, if I'm honest.
He don't like playing in Sheffield.

Ding
Currently I see Peter Ebdon as a man to beat. Considering the World Championships, also. His form has been a very promising recently. It doesn´t mean he can´t get beat, since obviously he can. But what it means, is that he is now always going to require some stopping. Now during this Grand Prix Peter has already knocked out Shaun Murphy and Stephen Maguire. And some centuries he has rolled in recently. When a player, any player, starts to find his hot-red form, they almost always first do get some a very promising wins over the other top players. And what makes Peter a special player, even amongs the a very top players, is his OVERALL ability and package. He has a brilliant temperament and a resilience, also.
