I'm new around here, please be gentle. I have loved snooker for many years but have only seen one live match -at the Diamonds Centre in Irthlingborough. It was Peter Ebdon. 8 hours of excitement.

For a few years they played snooker matches at the Diamonds Centre which was part of the Rushden & Diamonds Football Club complex (the Diamonds in Rushden & Diamonds were the former club Irthlingborough Diamonds who merged with Rushden). Unfortunately Rushden & Diamonds have gone out of existence this summer after financial problems. Kettering Town have just moved into the complex after they had trouble with the lease on their ground.
