snookerfan invited me.
looks like he's every bit as infamous round these parts lol.
been into snooker for ages now.
got a table in my garage when i was 7 (31 now).
used to have my mates round playing games in that garage for hours.
always watched it on the telly.
remember doug mountjoy beating a young stephen hendry in a major in around 88 (no doubt someone will recall the tournament).
feel old remembering that.
played in clubs over the years and not much of a player.
27 is my highest break on a full size and 46 on a smaller table.
ronnie is me fav player.
also got a soft spot for matt stevens and ding (a victory for shy people everywhere
)

I tend to be infamous wherever I go, me.
Hope you enjoy it, man.
I'd say don't do anything to harm my rep, but I don't think that's possible.

the joys of wikipedia.
After suffering many losses, the 1988/89 season was to be a turning point for Mountjoy: while being coached by Frank Callan, he made it to the final of the 1988 UK Snooker Championship, meeting the young pretender Stephen Hendry in the final. He won 16–12, knocking in three consecutive centuries at one stage, giving him his first major ranking tournament victory, and after the match he praised Hendry as a future talent.
thought it was 88.
couldn't quite remember the tournament.
