Gould, Marco and Allen had 3 wins out of 6

Gould had 13 Frames won
Marco 12 Frames won
Allen 10 Frames won

those 3-0 whitewashes came back to haunt Allen had they been 3-2 he would have finished 3rd.

Yeah should be a good one I hope, the winner getting their ticket to the PL next season, hope Gould wins.

The final begins, and i think for the first time in CL history we have 2 commentators: Clive and Foulds... the best pairing their is at the moment. :-D :-D :-D

And Gould takes it with a ton :hatoff:

No idea if the winner of this gets a PL place or if the PL will even be the same anymore, and it's pretty much the most tinpot event on the calendar, but still well done.

He should yeah, cause even though it's a tp event, it still is very hard to win considering almost every top player is in it, so if anyone has the right to enter the PL, then Martin should get that place.

Well done Martin Gould. :hatoff:  :hatoff:

That said, Martin's trophy cabinet looks abit strange. He currently holds the following;

- Power Snooker
- Snooker Shootout
- Championship League

So basically Gouldy is the king of the tin-pot, novelty events. :D

Yeah noticed that too, and, as he said himself in the post-match interview, it's a shame he can't produce this kind of form and win a ranking event, cause we all know he's more than capable of winning at least one.

But I'm sure he'll win one sooner rather than later with all the tournaments we have now. At least I hope he does anyway.

I don´t think that power snooker and shootout are tin-pont events. Great buzz with the partizan crowds. So great trophys for Martin.

But it seems that power snooker has been cancelled now. It has been withdrawed from the world snooker tournament calender.

Yea it’s an odd one. Maybe he is the best at ‘relaxed snooker’. These tournaments mean a lot to him which is great and he has won nearly £70 between the shootout and CL.
I think he is good enough to win a ranking event, he is probably at the peak of his career.

But don't forget he has already won a PTC event, that was PTC2 this season, winning 4-3 against Mags.

So that's Power Snooker, Shootout, Championship League and a PTC, so yeah all that's missing really is a ranking event, and he's far too good not to win at least 1, the only problem he has is that he has to develop a better safety game, as sometimes it's required cause it's not all about potting them from anywhere like he does when he's on top form. Hope he does win one ranking tourney in the future.
