wasnt an easy one, but yeah should have got it.... maybe Willie is right... sometimes in those situations, a drag shot may be better..

The only problem is that in order to do that the white cant be touching the cushion, otherwise you can only strike the top of the ball

Absolutely.... Even his Z game can beat some of the players on tour

Think so too.. as I said before, what's missing in Higgins game is a big run in a ranking tourney and he can start get confidence back again..

Could start next week in Changhai, though I doubt it

True.

I'd start a thread asking if people think his form will return, but it'd only lead to people discussing the betting allegations again, so won't bother.

ask it in junkyard it will save sonny from putting it there :-)

I wouldn't say that outright- Higgins reached the final in 2007, topped the table in 2009 as well so he does have some pedigree under the new rules. He was two points off the play-offs last year too

You did well updating that. :spot on: You usually have trouble spelling the names when the people playing are English.

Anyone been watching this? How has the match gone?

Ebdon started well going 1 nill, but then Allen's game got better, making some decent breaks, while Ebdon's safety got worse, catching balls too thin back to baulk...

Ebdon made that ton, but in the end Allen won the last frame, 4-2
