Loads of good shots in that break from Tony, but he eventually misses.
41-24 Gilbert, three reds left...

10-8 Gilbert
Much closer than I expected, but Dave's probably happy to get through. Has to improve loads to beat Marco though.

he has, but fair play to him, held himself together well in the end.
As for Tony, i'm afraid that missed pink in frame 16 will haunt him quite a bit.. had he knocked that, it would have been 8-6 and things might have gone different. But anyway...
Gilbert v Fu should be a good one.

Dave Gilbert
Drago wasted too many chances late in the match.
Tough match next for Gilbert against Fu though.

Rodney
Folding now. Lost five in a row against Ants and it's not like he hasn't chances.

Bond can still get to 9-9 as well, tough ask though.
Thought that match had final frame decider written all over it.

McManus at the table, likely to win 10-8 to set up a clash against Tom Ford.
Hopefully Leicester can have three players at the Crucible this year, would be so good for the City.

Whatever happens in this frame between Ants and Rod, looks like they'll be pulled off afterwards. Would be good for Rod to clear his head after losing five frame in a row, potentially six.
