Steve Davis 4-5 *Simon Bedford*


I was a bit shocked to see that Davis lost,i watched the 2nd,3rd last frames of this match and i was watchin the decider until the transmission stopped,ok Davis had only potted a red and black but he was in the balls,then the damn transmission stopped,i thought,Davis will probably have done it again,i really thought he,d win the decider,i then looked at the scores which Wild put up a few mins later and was a bit surprised to see that Davis did,nt pull it off!.



Losin 5-4 is always awful!. :dizzy: but one can,t always win deciders. :roll:

Wish I could watch Wenbo/Dotty, that will be good. And is it a blessing in disguise for Pankaj to face Stevens again after losing to him 4-3 from 3-0 just a couple of days ago? Exorcise the demons?

I'm hoping that Steve beats Ali Carter on Sunday. It's a big ask, but it's one of those matches I think both players will be looking to win. Unlike when Steve Davis drew Ronnie last year, and had no chance of winning. Ali Carter will need to be off his game a bit, and Davis will have to play his best. But a Davis win over Carter isn't inconceivable.

Getting a bit ahead of myself though. :-D

great performance from wasley to not only leading 4-3 but to get a ebdon match in to the 8th frame after 2 hours playing time.
