Well that didn't help Luca, lost 5-1 in the end. On the bright side (for me) Adi wins 5-2 and goes to play Matt Selt

Scott is very good and a lovely young lad as well. But Nigel will give him a totally different type of game than Che Zhe or Yu Delu and it will be interesting to see how he cope with it. Poor or not, Nigel in one old head on old shoulders.

Scott Donaldson despite being disadvantaged from joining the pro tour late has made it up with points this week and has won 1000 more points than his Predecessor as European Champion Daniel Wells this season.

He ran Jamie Burnett close, who's in better form and has better breakbuilding than Nigel, plus Jamie's all round game is pretty good too. Fingers crossed.

But nigel is a far more classy player than Burnett it wont be easy but who said its suppose to be...there's something about Scott good performances arent here and there its consistent performances from him.
he entered Q School and came so close played 11 Matches and won 8 of them in 3 Events
then following Week went to the European Championship Played 9 Matches and won 9 of them conceding only 10 Frames in 54 played to join the main tour
and then in his first event as a pro at the Weekend Beat Liam Highfield Before Losing to Burnett 4-3 then this week wins 2 Matches and gets £1,700 for his efforts since the Weekend.

Are Pinches and Patrick aiming for longest match or something? Almost three hours for four frames and not a ball potted in the fifth.

Think they're going to have to pull some matches off soon. There are only four free tables and five matches for the afternoon session. Is it me or has this session been especially slow?

you always gets one match that pushes it to the wire but 4 is very unusual.

Time Limit of 4 Hours from Snookerbacker
and buck me our very own Sonny suggesting Opening up the Pockets to make it easier.

It was one turgid session and people are overreacting. This evening session has been much better, although Pinches and Patrick still at it, nearing six hours.

Thing is if it wasent streamed nobody will bat a eyelid you have to expect this when the Highest Rank player in a Match is Pinches at 64 and the other a Amataur player not used to playing players like Pinches.
These players are not playing in the second qualifying round for no reason they are for want of a better Word rubbish compared to what people used to see on TV.

Pinches v Patrick isn't even streamed, it's just on livescores i.e. only there if you look for it. Maybe some snooker fans are just masochists

They're finally done. After six hours Barry Pinches wins 5-4. I imagine his match with Woolaston will be much quicker.
