By all accounts the Mehta v Pinches match was very high quality with big breaks in every frame. Both players were buzzing afterwards. We'll see more of Mehta, don't worry about that.

Yeah, Pinches attached a score sheet on facebook to show us. He was buzzing. The breaks were
Mehta: 67,61,101,76
Pinches: 71,92,142,78
Sounds like a cracking match, just wish people would stop calling these players 'boring old journeymen', they still pull out some cracking matches and big breaks, and fair play to them, probably win off experience, thats what theyre there for.

Mehta is a class player make no mistake. Seen him a few times now, it's easy to see why he's the best player in India and there are a lot of players in India!

Don't discount Pankaj Advani if he really is concentrating on snooker rather than billiards now, excellent player with all the ball control being a top notch billiards player brings. Anyone who doesn't know about him, Wikipedia's article is a pretty good summary ...

First Man to Qualify for Australia is Cao Yupeng from China after the withdrawal of Anthony Hamilton and could face a wild card before a last 32 with Allister Carter.

And barring snookers, Harold takes it. Witz'll probably moan about it, but I have to say
to him.
Also wondering how Lawler'll fare against Greene, so far all his opponents have been more attacking/less tactically astute players.
