The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Nice to see the old brigade still representing.

I'm here at SWSA again for another packed schedule. Think I'll start to dip in from the 11am starts and I'll be with Spanish blogger Ander supporting his mate Francisco Domingues who originally thought he would be playing Monday so booked a flight home early Tuesday morning. After he qualified he had to change flights. Anyway, looks like he's already under way so I'm to go support him.

I did plan to welch on my e-mail I sent to World Snooker the other year, but when I saw the cost of travel and hotels in York I decided to stand firm. <laugh>

I'll stick to the Masters, as it's a lot closer to where I live.

Hilarious gags aside, what are the pubs in York like anyone? (Not the gay ones, just in general.)

I know it's a scenic place and all. Are the pubs quite historic and pretty, or are they a bit naff and aimed at people visiting the city?

I ask out of curiousity more than anything.

Hows Davis not classy though? Just cos he tries to win at all costs and doesnt tamely roll over like Hendry did at the end of his career

i said as a player jimmy is MORE Classy not that Steve isnt classy
