Higgins and Lawler or Mark King and Barry Hawkins. For a minute I though they would but Davis back on stream.

*Steve Jammy Davis* 4-3 John Whitty
I watched the last 3 frames of this marathon!.
What a jammy basket Steve was!,in the second last frame he messed up at least 4 safety shots and got away with it,even Steve himself was shakin his head in disbelief!,on the other hand one could argue that Whitty had chances to send Davis packing!!.
Well done Steve though,(u jammy basket!!) !!.

If you want to mix it with the clapped out should be retired, making their over fifties plans professionals you should be jumping on those chances and winning. There's no on the other hand about it. I watched about a frame then got bored.

ridicule the Nugget all yous like but yous should really enjoy the presence of Davis and Jimmy while you can cos once there gone, the link to the golden era of snooker is finally gone.

I agree... even though they are far far from the players they once were, I still very much enjoy watching the old faces of snooker.... might take a few hours and some grueling battles, especially in Davis case, but still I enjoy watching them cause like you say once they're gone there will be no more players from that golden generation of snooker...
Snooker is more and more ruled by new faces I know, but watching the old ones battle it out is still great.. a 55 year old battle it out against a 20 or even younger player... you don't get that in other sports

Except it isn't as I'd much rather watch old footage of Hendry, Davis, White, Alex Higgins and co from when they were really good and winning stuff rather than turning up to events after a quarter of a century on the pro circuit.

How are the crowds there? Similar to watching Surrey playing on a Monday in the County Cricket Championship in September in the 90s?
