I like DH normally but he is clearly biased toward Judd and Jack, although not as much as the BBC team are.

It's clearly the beard which gives him the ability to win. Didn't Mags have the beard for China as well, before shaving it off at some stage in the tournament.

Dave Hendon the same as me wants New Blood to start Kicking baboons shiny behinds at last there's to many 30+ winning events for my liking he might have come across biased however he just wants the sport to move on with younger players.

I'd have preferred a Lisowski win. Nothing against Mags, just that I feel Lisowski has a talent but something is missing. I think he needs more experience / confidence to his game and winning a PTC would've helped with that.
Still, fair play Mags. He'd been doing well towards the end of last season, can't begrudge him a win, I guess.

It's obvious Dave H has a soft spot for Jack Lisowski and he had a column in SS mag last season didn't he? But Jack has charisma so it's understandable that a usually unbiased commentator showed a bit of favouritism for once.

Considering Jack Lisowski has overcome cancer & is still playing wonderfully beautiful Snooker, what is there not to admire about the fella?????
I personally hope he does everything in his powers to be successful. Good Luck to him.

I love watching the fella play too Wild. He has that bit of a buzz about him doesn't he. He's exciting.
You could just see/feel that lapse in his concentration yesterday on his back swing when cueing the yellow. He's a rythmn player & the kinda player that when he finds it & is in full swing, rarely misses. Love it!

I saw John Higgins vs Jack Lisowski at the Welsh Open a few years back. I think it was Jack's first ever televised appearance, but am not sure on that one.
Despite being only a best of 7, he played well in losing. It went 4-3 to Higgins, and I think Lisowski just got nervous towards the match end. He pushed one of the best players ever though, and I remember thinking at the time; "That can't be bad".
I'd love to see him push on.

I like DH normally but he is clearly biased toward Judd and Jack,
although not as much as the BBC team are.
That's the key point, to be fair. Say what you like about Eurosport commentators, but there are members of the BBC who might as well start their commentary by announcing; "My favourite players are Ronnie and Judd, by the way."
What a load of rubbish. Paranoid twerp.
